The Right way to fix a doctor shortage

As a voter in your district, I urge you to reject any effort by special interests that makes it harder for New Mexico patients injured or harmed by multi-billion dollar hospitals wrongdoing to get justice. We deserve a civil justice system that puts people before profits.

Our state has been impacted by the national doctor shortage. We need more doctors in New Mexico, so we should be passing laws that pay off their student loans or pay them more to practice here. That’s the answer to the shortage, not taking away patients rights like HB99 is attempting to.
