Thank You Senators for Voting no on HB1420

Thank you for voting “no” on H.B. 1420 in the recent Senate Utilities Committee vote.  I am writing to ask you to continue to oppose H.B. 1420 when it comes to the floor of the Senate.  As you know, H.B. 1420 will block competition in the construction of high-voltage transmission lines in Indiana.    Blocking competition means higher electricity prices for Indiana families. No competition not only means higher prices, but it also means less innovation, and less reliability and increases the chances projects won’t be finished on time or on budget.

Thank you for continuing to stand up for competition and Indiana families by voting “no” on H.B. 1420
