Tell Your Delegate NO to Senate Bill 460!

I am emailing to ask you to vote NO on Senate Bill 460. If SB 460 passes, West Virginia will move from having some of the strongest school and childcare immunization requirements to one of the weakest in the nation. By making it easier to obtain religious and philosophical exemptions, the bill would encourage more parents and guardians to opt out instead of protecting their children through immunization. This could have serious consequences for public health, leading to lower immunization rates and leaving our communities vulnerable to the return of preventable diseases that could affect everyone, not just the unvaccinated. Strong immunization policies help protect the most vulnerable members of society, and weakening those requirements could undermine years of progress in safeguarding public health.
