Support our Veterans

I’m a concerned resident here in California, and I’m urging you to oppose any legislation that restricts veterans’ ability to choose when, where, and from whom they receive assistance in securing their disability benefits. Our veterans have earned these benefits through their service, and they deserve the autonomy to navigate the system using the resources they trust and find most effective.

Many veterans have successfully utilized specialized services to navigate the complex process of obtaining their deserved disability benefits. These services provide critical expertise that can make a significant difference. Denying veterans access to these proven resources is a disservice to those who have sacrificed so much for our country.

While I understand the need to address any potential misconduct, a broad legislative restriction penalizes all veterans and the legitimate services that support them. We need solutions that target bad actors without stripping our heroes of their fundamental right to choose the best path forward for themselves.
