Support California’s climate goals

I write to express my support for Assembly Bill 2528 (Arambula), a bill that ensures California meets its climate goals, protects groundwater, and improves air quality by making more land available for renewable energy projects.

AB 2528 gives farm owners facing water losses an option to transition their fallowed fields to solar. And when Central Valley farmers harvest the sun, they can also create well-paying clean energy jobs, generating more than $100 million per county in local revenue. 

This bill is a win for Central Valley farmers, local communities and the environment. We need your support to move this bill forward!
