Say No To Government-imposed Caps

Thank you for representing our district.

As a voter, I ask you to say no to any government-mandated caps on damages. An Iowan’s best chance to hold a dangerous corporate nursing home, a reckless driver, a negligent hospital, or a corrupt employer accountable is their right to trial by jury.

Any effort to force a one-size-fits-all, government-mandated dollar value on human life is immoral.

Please protect the constitutional rights of Iowa families to hold a trial by a citizen jury. Iowa families deserve justice, free from government-mandated limits. Tort reform is wrong for Iowa.
