Pledge to vote “Yes”

I pledge to vote in November 2024 and protect fishing and hunting.

I am deeply concerned about the recent initiatives that threaten our traditions of hunting and fishing. In Oregon, there is a proposal to criminalize these activities, setting a dangerous precedent. We cannot allow this in Florida.

The Biden administration’s cuts to hunter education programs and archery in schools are alarming. These programs teach important skills and instill a love for the outdoors in our youth. We must preserve them.

The proposed ban on lead hooks, sinkers, and bullets on federal land limits our choices and affects the affordability of necessary equipment.

The potential closure of deep-sea fishing due to whale regulations that could jeopardize fishing off the Florida coast is a threat we cannot ignore. We must find a balanced approach to protect both fishing and endangered species.

Fishing and hunting support thousands of jobs and contribute to our local economy. By protecting these rights, we safeguard livelihoods and communities.

I pledge to vote and make my voice heard about the importance of protecting fishing and hunting in 2024. Let’s stand united and make our voices heard.
