Please Support Medicare Advantage

I am reaching out to you today as a constituent on behalf of the Coalition for Medicare Choices and the more than 33 million seniors and people with disabilities who depend on Medicare Advantage.

Medicare Advantage delivers health and financial security for millions of seniors and individuals with disabilities by providing better services, better access to care, and better value.

Medicare Advantage helps drive down costs for taxpayers and offers additional benefits that fee-for-service Medicare doesn’t cover, such as integrated vision, hearing, and dental benefits; a cap on out-of-pocket costs; transportation to medical appointments; and comprehensive prescription drug coverage.

Medicare Advantage saves seniors an average of more than $2,500 annually compared to fee-for-service Medicare – savings that are particularly important because Medicare Advantage serves a population that is disproportionately low income.

I am counting on you and other Members of Congress to ensure that the more than 33 million seniors and people with disabilities who chose Medicare Advantage can continue to get better care with lower out-of-pocket costs under this essential program.
