Please oppose SB 704 and protect veteran choice

I’m writing from West Virginia as a veteran to ask you to vote no on SB 704.

I want bad actors punished, period. But SB 704 sweeps too broadly and risks cutting off legitimate, ethical support. Free services are valuable, but they’re often backed up. When that happens, veterans shouldn’t be forced to wait or gamble with paperwork mistakes.

Please oppose SB 704 and instead support real consumer protections: clear written agreements, plain disclosures, reasonable limits on fee structures, strong privacy safeguards, and basic qualification standards. Also require that veterans be informed about free options in a clear, upfront way.
