NC Deserves Better Health Care

Here is a copy of the letter we will send to your lawmakers:

Dear [Speaker Moore,]

As a constituent in your district, I urge you to bring the SAVE Act to a vote this legislative session. I want North Carolinians to have access to high-quality health care, delivered by the provider of their choice. Eighty-seven of North Carolina’s 100 counties are designated as health professional shortage areas. This is simply unacceptable, especially considering there are more than 9,000 highly-qualified advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) in our state ready to meet the need. The only thing standing between patients and the care we need is regulatory red tape that limits patient choice and health care access.

The solution is clear. Please vote for the SAVE ACT.  Together, we can improve health care access, lower costs and improve health care outcomes for all of us in the Tar Heel State.
