Keep Big Government Off Our Rural Property

I am writing as a concerned Texan and constituent, urging you to vote no to Senate Bill 624.

SB 624 will use the heavy hand of government to trample private property rights and impede their ability to develop on their own land. Not only that, but it will send our energy costs surging and slow economic development in our state as well.

We need land use and energy policies that empower Texans, not ones that target them. At a time when 45% of Texans are already struggling to pay energy bills, undermining energy development should be a non-starter.

Our state has an opportunity to lead the world in energy development. I fear that SB 624 and other anti-energy legislation will be a reversal of the progress we’ve made.

Please vote NO on Senate Bill 624.
