Give us access to GLP1 meds

Here is a copy of the comment we will post on the FDA public comment webpage on your behalf:

I am writing in support of the FDA’s proposed finding that there is no clinical need to include semaglutide, tirzepatide, or liraglutide on the 503B bulks list.

Patient safety depends on a simple promise: that the medicines we take have been tested, reviewed, and proven to work. FDA-approved GLP-1 medications fulfill that promise. Compounded versions do not. They have never been evaluated in clinical trials, have been linked to contamination and dosing errors, and have harmed patients who had every reason to believe they were receiving safe care.

The FDA’s proposed finding protects that promise. I urge the agency to finalize this rule and ensure that every patient has access to GLP-1 medicines that meet the standards they deserve.
