Expand Education Freedom in Texas

I am writing to encourage you to support legislation that will empower parents and expand education freedom in Texas.

Education freedom is essential to setting up future generations for success. Parents know their children best and are the most equipped to choose a successful learning environment for their children.

HB 5267 would expand education freedom in Texas by providing the opportunity for students to receive the education that best suits their needs by creating Education Savings Accounts (ESA). With an ESA, Texas opens up an array of education opportunities to children and ensures parents have the resources to personalize their child’s education.

No two children are the same, and a parent should not be forced to accept a one-size-fits-all approach to their child’s education. The Texas House has the opportunity to empower parents to choose the best education option for their child by supporting HB 5267.

Please call for the House Public Education Committee to hold a hearing and pass HB 5267.
