As your constituent, I urge you to support President Biden’s proposed arms sales to Israel and reject efforts by Senator Bernie Sanders to block the deal.

These vital arms sales to Israel will help ensure the Jewish state has the resources it needs to defend its against Iran and the regime’s terrorist proxies. This sale is financed in part by Congressionally-appropriated security assistance to Israel, and the items in this package are subject to existing regulations under American law.

As Israel continues to work to drive Hamas from power in Gaza, it faces an escalating threat on its northern border from Hezbollah and growing terrorism in the West Bank. At the same time, the Iranian regime continues to fund terrorism around the region and advance its nuclear program.

The United States must ensure Israel has the ability to defend itself, by itself against these growing challenges. These arms sales are essential to ensuring Israel’s security.

I urge you to support these sales and reject Sen. Bernie Sanders’ dangerous efforts. I hope you will oppose any resolutions of disapproval should they come up for a vote.
