House Bill 1551 and Senate Bill 1748 put us all at risk!

If a particular model handgun is popular among law enforcement and law-abiding citizens seeking a handgun for self-defense, yet an alleged design issue with the sidearm has led to numerous, documented cases around the country of accidental discharges where the gun fires on its own, without the trigger being pulled, there should be accountability for the manufacturer. This scenario happened to a Florida deputy sheriff whose firearm was otherwise safely in his holster. The gun left a bullet lodged above his ankle.
