All Paws On Deck! Protect Dogs and Doggie Day Care Workers

I stand with workers and dogs who deserve kindness, care, and safety. Dogs and workers at Downtown Dog Lounge deserve safe conditions, including adequate staffing and training.

Understaffing puts both dogs and workers at risk in case of a dog fight, fire, or other emergency.

High staff turnover, due to low wages and unsafe conditions, stresses dogs too. When dog care workers are stressed, dogs can feel it.

Downtown Dog Lounge workers have my support in their fight for a fair contract for safety improvements, including training and adequate staffing. And I support their fight for respect and livable wages.

Keep dogs, and their doggie day caretakers, safe by providing Downtown Dog Lounge workers the pay, staffing, and respect they deserve.
