Don’t Let Small Businesses Struggle With Tax Hikes

Thank you for all you do in Congress to support small businesses and all you have done to help our local families. I am reaching out to you because I am worried about small businesses struggling to survive and make ends meet as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. My local businesses can’t find employees to keep their operations running. Now, additional tax increases from Congress would make their costs rise at an alarming rate. Local businesses have been the backbone of our community for decades, but if these taxes go through, they may have to close their doors soon. I trusted President Biden when he said that no one making less than $400,000 a year would see their taxes go up. This new legislation flies in the face of that promise. Please do all you can to prevent this bill from being rammed through and raising taxes on people like me who make less than $400,000 a year.
