Pass the Health Out-of-Pocket Expense (HOPE) Act

I reside in your district and I am writing to urge your support of the Health Out-of-Pocket Expense (HOPE) Act of 2025.

The cost of healthcare is a national crisis facing millions of Americans – and it’s only getting worse. Too many people have felt the devastation of rising medical bills, from making financial sacrifices and avoiding needed care, to facing medical debt and even bankruptcy. Healthcare affordability is one of the top issues on the minds of everyday working families and voters and the current reality is unsustainable.

The HOPE Act would provide a new benefit and critical solution, particularly for those with lower and middle incomes who are hit hardest, offering a new way to help manage the ever-growing costs of healthcare.

As Congress considers its tax package, I urge you to stand up for hardworking Americans, seniors and veterans by including the HOPE Act in this bill. Doing so would provide a lifeline to families who are struggling with today’s economic challenges.
