Oppose Anti-competition Legislation

I am writing to ask you to oppose legislation that would block competition in the construction of high-voltage transmission lines in Missouri. Blocking competition means higher electricity prices for Missouri families. No competition not only means higher prices, it also means less innovation, less reliability, and increases the chances projects won’t be finished on time or on budget.

Don’t give more power to monopoly utility companies. We already pay high electricity costs. Stand up for competition and Missouri families. Oppose H.B. 992.
