No cuts to Montana Health Care
Subject: Ryan Zinke, I’m disappointed in you
Dear Congressman Zinke:
We Montanans look out for each other when things get tough. But your vote to take away health care was cruel and un-Montanan.
The bill you voted for, H.R. 1, will take away medications, doctors’ visits, and care from tens of thousands of people in our district who rely on Montana Medicaid and Healthy Montana Kids. Sick children, seniors relying on nursing homes and long-term care, and people who can’t afford expensive private insurance premiums will be left without access to life-saving care.
Medicaid is not a waste. It’s about looking out for middle class and working people, and making life more affordable.
I’m deeply disappointed in you and your vote to take away health coverage just to give tax breaks to the wealthiest individuals and big corporations. I hope you will vote no if this vote comes up again.
Sincerely,
