Maryland’s Energy Future is on the line

Members of the Commission:

I am writing because I am concerned about the direction Maryland may be taking with natural gas. I care about preserving reliable service and affordable energy options for homes and businesses. Natural gas is a secure form of energy that Marylanders can depend on for years to come.

I worry about the consequences OPC’s proposal could have on many Marylanders like myself. Natural gas is my energy choice. I don’t want that taken away by policies that could harm or adversely affect my ability to choose the energy that works for me and my family.

Marylanders need choices, not a one-size-fits-all approach. I hope the Commission will take seriously how these decisions affect households like mine, that want to keep energy reliable and within reach.
