Subject: Yet another power grab

I am upset to see the Senate is trying again to destroy Iowa’s gold standard judicial selection system by removing experienced judges from our judicial nominating commissions and giving the Governor an additional appointee. This time, it’s being snuck into the court appropriations. Iowans are watching. We care about independent courts.
