Don’t allow children to fall behind

Here is a copy of the letter we will send to your lawmakers:

We are asking you to support a bill (SB2778/HB2861) that gives Tennessee families the options and resources they need to ensure children do not fall behind academically due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Going fully remote for weeks or even months at a time was devastating for Tennessee students’ ability to thrive.

Many of our neighbors are fed up. Showing up at school board meetings and making our opinions known has had little to no impact.

This bill will help give power back to the community resident where it belongs.

I hope you will vote YES on this proposal to truly empower families who have nowhere left to turn.
