Support SB315 so veterans can get help sooner

I’m a Virginia veteran and a constituent. Please support SB315.

When I was trying to file, I kept thinking, I can handle tough things, so why does this feel impossible. The answer is the system is complicated, and the people who provide free help are overburdened. A lot of vets want the option to pay for legitimate help just to get it done correctly and on time.

SB315 doesn’t treat paid assistance like a problem to eliminate. It treats it like something to regulate responsibly. Clear written agreements. Required disclosures. Limits on compensation structures. Better protection of veterans’ data. Standards for providers through certifications or accreditations. And importantly, it still ensures veterans are told about free options so nobody is steered blindly.

This is a fair approach that respects veterans’ time and dignity. Please vote yes on SB315.
