Close Washington’s Gift Card Loophole

Folks like me in your district, and across the state, are counting on you to protect consumers
and hold giant corporations accountable.
Thank you for your service to Washington State. As your constituent, I’m asking you to pass
legislation that would close the gift card loophole in WA State, protecting consumers and serving
the public good.

The Washington Gift Card Accountability Package (HB 2095/SB 5988) would introduce and
enhance several consumer protections relating to company gift card programs, including
prepaid dollars on corporate reward program apps.
Our state is struggling to provide adequate childcare for working families, ensure everyone has
a home, and give teachers the resources they need to create a bright future for Washington.
Please pass HB 2095/SB 5988 to put the real Washingtonians ahead of wealthy corporations.
