I appreciate your support for Israel during these difficult times, as our ally reckons with and responds to the barbaric and unprecedented invasion by Hamas terrorists. The appalling images of Hamas’ brutal actions bring to mind the horrors perpetrated by terrorist groups such as Al-Qaeda, ISIS, and the Taliban. Israel is conducting a major operation in Gaza to locate and free hostages, eradicate Hamas’ terrorist infrastructure, and safeguard its citizens. Israel has every right and duty to respond forcefully and neutralize this threat, regardless of how long it takes.
It is imperative that American leaders stand firmly with Israel as it battles this terrorist threat. Calls for a ceasefire must be resisted, as they would only leave Hamas emboldened and with its terrorist capabilities intact.
I strongly encourage you to keep speaking out in support of Israel during this challenging period and ensure that the United States provides the military, political, and intelligence backing necessary for Israel to emerge victorious in this war.
