Louisiana Knows How To Reduce Carbon Emissions 

As a proud Louisianan, I know the scientists and professionals employed by our state care about our communities and work every day to ensure the safety of Louisianans. Their diligence makes certain that manufacturers and other industries operating in our state are held to the highest standards to protect our shared environment and our workers. This is why it is so disheartening to see out-of-state activists attempt to prevent my state from obtaining Class VI primacy.

HB 571 passed by the legislature ensures these projects will be built with direct benefits to communities while providing more transparency.

I urge you to support Louisiana’s application for Class VI Primacy so we can start implementing practices that reduce emissions in our community.
