Protect Safe, Natural Kratom Leaf

Dear Mayor and Councilmembers,

I’m a Tustin-area resident urging you not to ban natural kratom leaf. Please follow the lead of the U.S. FDA, which distinguishes natural kratom from dangerous synthetic 7-hydroxymitragynine (7-OH) opioid products.

A blanket ban will punish responsible adults who use natural kratom leaf products safely.. Instead, please consider a regulation-based approach that bans synthetic and adulterated products while allowing safe, natural kratom to remain available to adults.
